Dear Parents,
What a fantastic week it has been at our school!
The Early Years children had an absolutely delightful time at our soft play event on Saturday afternoon. The event was bursting with laughter and energetic play, as the children enjoyed each other's company, while parents had the chance to catch up. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the parents who attended Parents’ Evening on Tuesday. Your involvement not only strengthens the home-school partnership, but also enhances your children's learning experiences. We trust you found the discussions both insightful and valuable.
On Wednesday, Remove presented a beautifully moving Mass to celebrate the Feast of Guardian Angels. It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance, along with familiar faces like Mr. Cheesman and Miss Grogan, who always bring joy to our gatherings. Father Kevin was genuinely impressed by the exceptional singing of our talented children, which added a lovely ambience to the occasion. After Mass, Father Kevin gave all our new children a welcome blessing to welcome them into the St Bernard's Family.
Today, we held a Road Safety Workshop for all children from Years 1 to 6, equipping them with vital knowledge and skills to navigate their surroundings safely. I truly believe it is crucial to remind our children about the importance of being vigilant on the roads.
Finally, this afternoon, Early Years had another enjoyable afternoon, welcoming our wonderful grandparents for ‘Stay and Play’. It was a fantastic opportunity for our children to share their learning environment with their grandparents, creating cherished memories together. This event is always filled with smiles and laughter.
