U10 +U11 Netball vs Langley Hall
Last week our U10s and U11s played netball against Langley Hall. All of our teams put up a good effort against strong Langley Hall sides, and although we only won 1 of the 4 matches, our girls displayed some fantastic all-round skills on the courts. Well done to all the players and special congratulations to Zayna, Sophia, Rhea and Safa for all being named MVP for their respective teams.
U9 Hockey at Claire’s Court
On Tuesday, two of our hockey teams travelled to Maidenhead to play in a friendly fun fixture at Claire’s Court School. The emphasis of this fixture was to get our young players introduced into competitive matches and for everyone to have as much fun as possible. The girls all played their hearts out and the afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Well done to all the players and a special well done to both Darissa and Zahra for being nominated as the MVPs for the day.
Under 9 Football vs Thorpe House
After having our previous matches called off due to rainy weather, our Under 9 footballers finally got to play their first fixture of the season. On Tuesday we welcomed three teams from Thorpe House School. All 3 of our teams won their matches, with the U9As winning 4-2, the Bs 6-2 and the Cs 4-1. This was an outstanding result for our school, and we are immensely proud of all the players. Well done to Saarth, Avi and Siddartha for being named as MVPs for their respective teams.
Under 11 Netball vs Eton End
On Wednesday, our U11A+B Netball teams travelled to Eton End in Datchet. Although our teams were not at their strongest due to a few injuries, all of our players put up an amazing effort on the courts throughout the afternoon. Our A team lost 5-8, while our B team lost 8-16. Very well done to all the players for their fighting spirit. A special well done to both Ria and Mahi for being nominated as their teams’ MVPs.
Under 11 Football vs Eton End:
On Wednesday, St Bernard's took two football teams to play against Eton End.
Our A team played two matches against Eton End’s A team, winning the first 2-0 and losing the second 2-1. Well done to all the players and to Ayaan, who was MVP after his incredible goalkeeping display.
Our B team played two matches against Eton End B and C teams. St Bernard’s lost the first game 2–1 but comfortably won their second match 6 - 0. Well done to all the players and to Tanish, who was the MVP for his tenacious defensive display.
