Under 9 Netball Tournament at The Marist
On Friday the 15th of November, our Under 9 Netball team participated at The Marist Netball Tournament. Our girls were super enthusiastic throughout the event and played outstanding netball for their first competitive tournament. Everyone got to rotate positions and some good goals were scored as a result of brilliant team work and great team chemistry on the courts. We played a total of 7 matches on the day, winning 1, drawing 4 and losing 1. Well done to all the players and congratulations to Avaani for being nominated as our team’s MVP for the day.
Under 10 Rugby vs Claire’s Court
Last Friday, our Under 10 Rugby team travelled to Maidenhead to play against Claire’s Court in their final match of the year. Our boys were absolutely unbelievable on the pitch! Considering the results that went against us a few weeks back, our players pulled themselves together, and bounced back to produce one of the finest performances we have seen on a rugby field this year. We won the match 13-12 in what was a close contested wrestle, with some very big hits and tackles being made. Our passing and offloading game was out of this world and our boys scored some brilliant team and individual tries. Well done to the whole team, but special mention must be made to Pranav for his all-round presence on the field, Shrey for his pace and Younis for making a try-saving tackle to ensure the win. Well done gentlemen!
Under 9 Rugby at Caldicott
On Tuesday, our Under 9A&B Rugby Teams travelled to Farnham Royal to play in a triangular fixture vs both the hosts, Caldicott and the other visiting school, Davenies. These were our boys' first contact matches of the season and they were certainly up for the challenge. Both our A and B teams played 2 matches each. Our A Team beat the hosts, Caldicott, 8-7 and lost narrowly to Davenies 6-7, while our B’s beat Caldicott 12-10 and lost 1-4 to Davenies. All of our players showed plenty of fighting spirit and as a result, we scored fantastic tries and made some big tackles throughout the afternoon. Congratulations to all of our players and a special well done to both Ryan and Pranay for being nominated as MVPs for their teams on the day.
