On Saturday 5^th February 2022 St Bernard’s Prep welcomed four other prep schools to their annual Under 9A and B Football Festival. Dair House, Claire’s Court, Gayhurst, Thorpe House and St Bernard’s Prep all participated.

This was a wonderful showcase of Prep School football and all the teams provided the large crowd of spectators with exciting play and many goals. We were crowned overall champions in the A group, while Thorpe House came out on top in the B group. 

Festival organiser and Head of Sport at St Bernard’s Prep, Mr Dirk Barendse said, "After not being able to run this event last year due to Covid restrictions, we were so delighted to have all the children together again, enjoying competitive sport. There were many reasons to celebrate this year’s festival - amazing goals, great skills, good sportsmanship, but the highlight has to be giving the children have the opportunity to participate once again."
